Things start to heat up in this second Climate
and Weather lesson, literally, as the sun and its relationship
to weather is explored. Of course, without water, there wouldn’t
be much of a weather story, so its role is investigated as
well. All the concepts come together in a fun convection activity.

- Comparing and contrasting the three basic methods of heat
transfer
- Explaining how water enters and moves through the atmosphere
- Explaining how clouds form
- Classifying clouds based on shape, elevation and type
of weather they indicate
